Introduction

　　Founded on 19th Jan, 2007, Chongqing Hongyan Alliance Culture Developing Management Center (Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary Museum) (“Hongyan Alliance” hereinafter), is a bureau institution dominated by the Bureau of Culture and Broadcasting in Chongqing, with inscription of Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary Museum and Chongqing Ge Le Mountain Revolutionary Memorial Museum remained.

　　Recently, under the instruction of Chongqing Government and the requirements of Propaganda Department of Chongqing Municipal Committee and the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Broadcasting in Chongqing, following the working principle of “service humanization, operation normalization and quality standardization”, Hongyan Alliance entirely took a successful way to explore revolutionary culture and develop its industry by innovating in the all-round internal management mechanism, integrating cultural resource, and boosting market. Meanwhile, it also provided the practice and experience for the reform and development of the national cultural museums.

　　In the wave of deeply developing national culture system reform, Hongyan Alliance is a fruit of Chongqing’s culture system reform, which successfully took the chance to achieve good social and economic benefit in resource integration, mechanism innovation, research and development, market expansion and social education. All our work went up to a new stage. In recent years, according to the policy of “integrating resource, operating market, researching and developing and uniting all strengths”, Hongyan Alliance has inherited the working tenet of “studying on Hongyan History and carrying forward Hongyan Spirit” to faithfully fulfill the responsibility for protecting Hongyan revolutionary culture heritages, studying on revolutionary culture resource, promoting Hongyan spirit and spreading revolutionary history and scientific cultural knowledge, as well as to make the education and demonstration function, inspiring function and radiation function of National Patriotism Education Demonstration Base and National United Front Educational Base into full play. It insists on protecting historical relics, as well as studying and developing these heritages, shaking the mass with the silent language and publishing Hongyan spirit with various education ways. Chongqing Ge Le Mountain Revolutionary Memorial Museum was rewarded National Advanced Unit, Chongqing Adolescent Education Base and National Social Education Excellent Base by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Personnel in October 1991; one of the 100 Primary and Middle School Patriotism Education Demonstration Bases by China Education Committee, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the State Administration for Protection of Cultural Relics, the Center Department of Communist Youth League and the Main Political Department of the PLA in June 1996; one of the 100 Patriotism Educational Demonstration Bases by the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party in 1997; National Spiritual Civilization Construction Advanced Unit by the Central Spiritual Civilization Construction Direction Committee in Sep 1999; the First Class Merit Citation of Collective by Chongqing People Government in December 2000; and the Prize for Innovation in the First Chongqing Ideological and Political Work in January 2001. Hongyan Revolutionary Museum topped the 10 National Red Tourism Spots in 2006.

　　Hongyan Alliance pays much attention to software construction as well as hardware one. Exhibitions with complete functions and facilities have been established at Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary Museum and Chongqing Ge Le Mountain Revolutionary Memorial Museum, especially Hongyan Soul Square, which reflects the unique charm as a Patriotism Education Demonstration Base and becomes the symbol landscape in Chongqing. Hongyan Alliance enables to improve its strength in the aspects of infrastructure, tourist reception and education show, which will do better to accomplish its missions as Red Tour Spot and Patriotism Education Demonstration Base. It will bring patriotism education function into full play and play an important role in accelerating Chongqing’s economic & social development and spirit civilization.
